Preserve the resource
Mountain grapes are valuable sustenance not only for us human, but also for the animals in the mountains. We do not harvest indiscriminately, we postpone harvesting vines that does not fulfill the required size until the following year. In addition, with the cooperation of the landowners, we try to plant more trees than we cut down to maintain the forests.

Harvesting the vines
Wild grapes grow by wrapping themselves around other trees, their vines are so thick and powerful that it will eventually take the lives of the trees the vines has tangled onto. They are considered a nuisance in the forest industry because the vines spread over a wide area and wrap around trees that has been planted. They need to be trimmed occasionally to maintain the environment. We receive the blessing of the vines in return of regular maintenance.

An item worth lifetime
When the baskets are used with care, the color of vines will deepen and glosses beautifully over time and grow into a one-of-a-kind. As they are repairable, with proper maintenance, the baskets can be used over generations for more than a hundred years.In this age of mass-production and high consumption, we believe that with love and care for each item can lead to the preservation of limited resources.
